WQA China Taskforce Meeting successfully organized

WQA China Task Force Meeting 2013 has been organized successfully on Dec. 18, 2013, in Shanghai. There were over 30 member companies with total 65 persons attended the meeting, who were from China (mainland, Taiwan and HK) and international countries and regions, e.g. USA, Israel, Japan, etc. International companies such as 3M, Amway, Strauss Water, AO Smith, DOW, Halosource and Chinese companies such as Canature, Midea, Ningbo HO, Tianjin Jinghai Yunda, Hangzhou Mingquan are long history WQA members and Gold Seal certified companies. The theme and goal of the meeting is to share more information and knowledge with members and Gold Seal companies about international market updates, industrial standards, testing protocols of water treatment industry in the US.

Upon demand and requirement from WQA international members and Gold Seal certified companies, WQA established its representative office in Shanghai and got registered on April 11 of 2013. Upon the establishment, WQA is able to provide more efficient services and consultation to its international and local Chinese members and Gold Seal certified companies in terms of trading matchup making, international and local regulatory consultation, education and training, product testing and certification consultation, etc. This is a valuable supplement service to all WQA members who are either interested in entering Chinese market or Chinese local members and Gold Seal certified companies to explore American market.

Currently there are about 80 valid members of WQA in China and about 24 Chinese local manufacturers’ products are tested to NSF/WQA standards and certified to WQA Gold Seal program.
